The History of GPKUG Heritage Lost Sets

This post will serve as a quick history of the GPK Heritage Lost Sets. The purpose of this post is to acquaint collectors with the Hertiage Lost Sets so that if they become interested in collecting them, they know what to look for.

The Garbage Pail Kids Underground (GPKUG) Heritage Lost Sets began in 2022 as way to utilize some of the more unique fan set ideas that were canceled for various reasons and give members a chance to own a special small run type line. As of 2023 there has been a total of 2 Heritage Lost Set.

Heritage Lost Set I / HLS I
Year of Release: June 1st 2022
Name: HAVURAT HA'ZEVEL
Language: Israeli
Number of cards: 5 Base Cards
Number of sets produced: 40 with 35 released for sale.
Notes: This set was intended to be a full series extension of HAVURAT HA'ZEVEL much like FS X Bukimikun Series 2. This is the first GPKUG set to use a wax pack since FS III.

Heritage Lost Set II / HLS II
Year of Release: April 3rd 2023
Name: Black Hole Sun
Language: Invisible English
Number of cards: 5 Base Cards
Number of sets produced: 40
Notes: This set was produced using Holographic sticker stock and is the first UG set to be produced with invisible ink only viewable under UV light. This set also came with 1 custom printed UV Flashlight featuring the UG Spider web logo and the Black Hole Sun logo per order. Technically the first set release from the UG Premier brand that replaces BMT.

Name: Koodakaneh Ashghaldan at War

Notes: This set was is completely Camo’d and ready for battle from the bubble mailer to the cards. Originally conceived as a spin off to FS I Koodakaneh Ashghaldan then reworked into the prototype of CS I Glory to Ukraine before being shelved until now.
